Haha, that's awesome. I think this is as advanced as human beings will ever get when it comes to understanding cat psychology.

I've been fostering a friend's cat for the last few weeks. Roy knows what he's talking about. Michael Pollan observes similar things about apples, potatoes, marijuana and tulips in The Botany of Desire. Pollan published this book in 2001, and followed up with a PBS documentary in 2009. Both are great, and this is one of those rare combos where it doesn't matter if whether you read the book or watch the movie first!
