Aieeee!!!!! Web Server Down
If you hear a strange noise, that's me going nuts while my marsosudiro.com server remains down. No email. No website. No fun. And the folks at lunarpages.com are not fielding my (very first with them) help request nearly as fast as I want. Their first response seemed off base. I haven't heard back since I wrote them a followup, some 14 hours ago.
In any case, I'm doing my breathing and centering exercises, and trying to work on tasks that need to be done (and can be done) regardless of my marsosudiro.com status.
Okeydokey. Gonna live. This is not the end of the world. Breathe. Breathe. Breathe...
Count your breaths. That's what I've been doing. It's not the end of the world. In a year you'll barely remember this.
Hm. What other things make me find peace?

OK. Problem diagnosed. Domain name registration had expired. I hope it's now fixed. I found the registrar and paid up my $6.50. In theory I'll be alive again by tomorrow sometime.
Shout Out to Claire at thecronereport.com for figuring out what my problem was when she first got a bounced email on Tuesday. Shout Down to me for not believing she was right!!! I suffered an extra day for not listening. Hey Mr. Dependable, are you copying this? Your new wife is SMART SMART SMART SMART SMART. Not that you didn't already know that, but I wanted to put up a billboard to remind. :-)
Oh, in differently sad news. I discovered that my shoddy domain name monitoring has resulted in me losing both philindo.com and philindo.org. No longer am I the ass-kicking guy who owns the domain names for his first and last names. Now, it's just the last name. That's presuming that today's re-registration goes successfully.
The only good thing to say about this is that it's helping me to be (a) more careful and (b) less possessive. I've spent the last hour processing the fact that I no longer own my first name. I'm mostly OK with it. For now. But if you see me on the streets crying, you'll know why.

OK, I just heard back from iPowerWeb. Apparently my domain name wasn't scheduled to expire until NEXT YEAR. But they shut me down anyway. They sent an apology note. I appreciate that. And I'm still maddened.
Mind you, I was still being stupidly uninformed about where my domain name was registered and when it was going to expire. But MAYBE I would have thought to figure this out between now and next year, and if I did, I would have taken care of it before it really did expire.
Argh. OK. So I messed up AND they messed up. I hate mess-ups. Thank goodness I didn't have anything really pressing to do yesterday or today via email. Thank goodness I had time to fix things today. Thank goodness it all got fixed. And ARRRGHGHH!!

I let a domain expire. It was one of the ones I was sitting on of course someone had claimed it by the time I thought to renew it, lol.
I'm with LP I have been having issues today. I believe it's their SQL server.
