I don't need a housesitter, but I am interested to know if you will be dressed up as either Steve Martin or Goldie Hawn during your next gig.

Why no dogs, Phil? :(

Don: Goldie Hawn, of course. Don't you recall your comment about The Crying Game? :-)

Lisa: respect for mutual differences, I think. I looooove dogs. And I loooooove sleeping in and keeping an odd schedule. And they looooooove going out for regular walks if they don't have a fenced in yard of their own. So, alas, we're not meant to be solo pals. Last year around now I had a gig with two dogs that needed morning walks. I ended up hiring a neighborhood kid to do the morning dog walking and feeding part of my job. Crazy!

But last summer I also had a gig with Katie and Dylan, two dogs with a dog door and a big big backyard. We had a lot of fun together, all the time. Their diet consisted of a careful combination of dry dog food, boiled chicken, and copious amounts of canned green beans. Oh, and some treats. They loved the treats. I hope I get to stay with them some this year, too.

I had forgotten about the previous "Phil in drag" post. All I can say about the latest proposed gender bender is that Kurt Russell is in for one hell of a surprise the next time he gets to feeling frisky. :-0

Okay, cool. You sound like a dog's dream housesitter, with the chicken and beans and all!
