2003 Pontiac Vibe.  Yeah, baby!

If anyone wants a beat-up Ford Aerostar, let me know.  It seems I no longer need mine.

Let's avoid the jersey barriers this time, m'kay?

M'kay indeed. Sigh. Double sigh.

Also, Nicole R. asked if the change meant that I've given up my idea of a Blue Highways-style 3-month drive around the country while living out of my van. Not exactly, but modifications may yet need to happen...

One cool thing about the Vibe (and its twin the Toyota Matrix) is that the front passenger seat back folds forward to horizontal which makes for a looong cargo area, or even for a flat board that I could put a mattress on. The back of the seat even has a hard plastic tray so you can use the thing as a table. It's pretty cool, yep.

Happy news: I sold the van for $609 within 24 hours of listing it on craigslist. Much better than the $100 that the dealers originally offered.
