Brand extensions gone wild, as seen on Ninth Street at Barnes Supply -- a good place for raw peanuts, pet treats, and who knows what else.
SO funny! I've been meaning to scoot on over there to see what kind of goodness they have for my garden.

Mmmmm, Senior Cat Hairball Formula. That's my FAVORITE.

I was voted Senior Cat Hairball in high school.

That a bag of "sr. hairball formula" can be branded like that, sort of blows my mind. It shouldn't, I know -but it still does.

What about chicken soup for the cat's soul? Isn't that chicken soup for the cat lover's soul too? At least kill two hairballs with one stone....

And I misread Senior Cat Hairball as Senor Cat Hairball.

I did get kinda sick of the "Chicken Soup" book line when I worked at a bookstore, as I did with "All I Really Needed To Know" and "Little Instruction Book" books, sequels, and parodies. But I think the books I got the sickest of were series of books for adolescent females about a girl and her horse, or love for a horse, or... I better stop now before I say something really inappropriate. :)
Editors note: TypePad allows account owners to edit user comments, and I was briefly tempted to "enhance" Joe's post right into "inappropriate." But I didn't. Sigh. I'm such a wimp.
