S710a -- Yellows and Greens Are the Colors I've Seen*

Above, an unaltered photo taken with my Sony Ericsson S710a.  For some reason, the feel of this image makes me think of the NYTimes Sunday magazine -- perhaps in an article about reading.  Or old people with large marble collections.

But I digress.

I really enjoy my new (to me) S710a, which I bought from a friend who co-ops at Sony Ericsson.  The 1.3 megapixel camera is more than sufficient for many of my snapshot needs (like yesterday's post) which means I don't have to carry a phone and a camera as I've done for the last two years.

A few cons that don't really bother me: smooth keyboard (can't operate without looking at it), slightly bulky, and an unintuitive/inflexible contact manager.  I haven't used any of the other PIM, messaging or entertainment functions.  But for a phone and camera combo, it's great.  Prices should be dropping soon (if they haven't already) as the successor model is on the racks at Cingular.

*cf. "Deep greens and blues are the colors I choose,"** which sprang to mind when I first looked at this photo.  BTW, I really got sick of JT by the time I was out of high school.

** thanks to Grace for the correx.

I always thought it was "deep green and blues are the colors I choose." Have I been wrong all this time??
