Update, October 19 --

Hello Martha and all. Thanks for checking in about the Dadster. Things are going well now (knock wood) after some early complications. Things are going OK with Hal, too (my other "patient") but feel free to hold any an all of us in the Light as often as you can.

Update -- July 2006. Dad is grooving. Neck is well. Feeling is gradually but steadily returning to his fingers. Doing his own buttons and occasionally considering a return to the guitar. Neck mobility less than when he was a young lad but more than in the year or two before surgery. I hope I don't ever have to do it for myself, though.
